HOLE CUTTER SYSTEM

The Wheeler-Rex Hole Cutter System is designed to easily cut holes from 4" - 12" (100-300mm) into clay tile, ductile and cast iron, plastic and reinforced concrete pipes. The unit is available with a variety of power sources including 2-cycle gasoline engine, pneumatic motor, electric motor and hydraulic motor.

The system is modular in design which allows a single operator to set up and perform non-pressure taps safely and quickly. The basic system can be used on pipes from 6"-20" (150-500mm) O.D. and the capacity can be extended by simply adding chain to the hold down mechanism. Set up normally takes 5-10 minutes and actual cutting time is 5-10 minutes depending on pipe material and wall thickness.

The Model 701186 is a Bypass Valve Kit designed to be used with your skid loader, backhoe or tractor for the Wheeler-Rex Model 1663 Hydraulic Hole Cutter Sysem. The 701186 will adapt your current hydraulic system to the specs required to operate the 1663 Hole Cutter System. (8 gpm and 2000 psi required) Portable at 10 pounds and easy to connect. The hole cutter’s hydraulic lines will directly attach to the quick disconnects for both input & output points on the bypass valve. Hydraulic lines not included (between hydraulic power source & bypass valve.)
